Chem Proline® System Components

Chem Proline® is composed of the latest evolution in Advanced Polyethylene (PE) resin technology. This new Advanced PE material possesses excellent physical and mechanical properties. These properties include: stress crack resistance, slow crack growth resistance, ductility, impact resistance, abrasion resistance and brittleness resistance. Now available in 40″ – 98″ size size as well!

Capable of handling some of the harshest chemical applications with a long-term expected useful life, Chem Proline® offers a greater value over metal, FRP, lined steel, or other thermoplastic piping systems like PVC and CPVC. Chem Proline’s superior properties make it the only Polyolefin material able to handle certain chlorinated services like sodium hypochlorite. UV resistant, light weight, proven fusion joining technology, Chem Proline® is perfect for most chemicals found in the water treatment process.

In addition to Chem Proline® Advanced PE pipe, fiittings and valves, we also feature a wide array of components including gauge guards, degassing valves, check valves, back pressure relief valves and pulsation dampeners all available with thread-free connections.

Gauge Guards

  • Available without gauge for field instruments, 1/4” SS FPT threaded port
  • Gauge ranges available 0-60psi, 0-100psi, and 0-160psi
  •  1/2” Advanced PE SDR7 connection
  • PTFE Diaphragm prevents corrosion to the gauge/ instrument 

Degassing Valves

  • Automatic bleeding of trapped gas in piping systems
  • Ideal for off-gassing chemicals like Sodium Hypochlorite
  • Easy disassembly for cleaning
  • 1/2” Advanced PE connection
  • Available in FKM or EPDM

Diaphragm Check Valves

  • Diaphragm interior seals at much lower pressures then ball checks
  • Socket ends ideal for chemical feed skids
  • Short compact design
  • Sizes offered- 20mm, 25mm and 32mm socket
  • Available in FKM and EPDM

Back Pressure/Relief Valves

  • Works as back pressure or relief valve
  • Available in spigot, socket union, or butt union
  • Sizes offered- 20mm, 25mm, and 32mm
  • PTFE/FKM Diaphragm for chemical resistance

Pulsation Dampener

  • 10 Cu. In. body minimizes pulsations thru pipe system from chemical feed pump
  • Standard 32mm spigot connection, available factory reduced to 20mm or 25mm
  • Available in FKM or EPDM

Sightglass

  • Double wall construction
  • Inner Pyrex tube for chemical resistance
  • Outer acrylic tube for durability and protection of inner tube
  • Only available currently in 1/2” Advanced PE spigot for butt or socket weld
  • Available with FKM and EPDM end seals
